How long do withdraw symptoms last?

I have been on Hydrocodone for 9yrs. the last few uears I was taking 4 a day. I needed to get off of them. Couldnt stand being dependent on them. I decided to taper myself off. I did it in two weeks. Problem is I'm still going through strange withdraw symptom. Some days I;m fine other's it feels like I'm being electrocuted. Why? How lon g will this last. Whenever I think I'm clear more symptoms just pop up.

You will have to wean a little slower to allow your brain to adjust. I couldn't wean because my addiction was too strong so I stopped completely. The withdrawals lasted three days with the worst day being the worse. For me it was just alot of nausea, shakes and the feeling that something was crawling under my skin.

If you don't feel like you can handle it then I recommend a safe hospital detox where they can give you medication to help you through the withdrawals, and keep an eye on you.

When I ran out of pills was when I was sick for 3 days but when I stopped for good, I went through detox at the hospital. It was much easier that way.

I was on opiates for 20 yrs for spine issues. Had total knee in may'17 and was on oxycontin for months. Finally got off by VERY slow taper and when you get to low numbers you go even slower AND by the use of Kratom. Kratom is a plant related to the coffee plant- it is not a drug. I used 3 grams of Kratom powder (available online. I used moonkratom.com) maybe taken three times a day. There are a lot of youtube videos on Kratom- some good, soom not so good. It tastes awfull but it really helped me with withdrawal symptoms.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
