I have not posted for a while but have been here daily and reading. I was tapering down from the percs. Tomorrow (monday) will be my first day with none. my tapering did not go so well as there were times I went back up a little so I decided it is now time to jump OFF. Please wish me luck and I will write here daily. Thanks.

Oh Sweetie, I am so glad to hear this! I know that this is going to be rough, but I KNOW you can do this! just remember why you are doing this....its gonna be tough, but give yourself credit for each hour that goes by because that is an added hour to your new life, CLEAN AND SOBER! I am here for you, no matter what time of day, You can call or text me if you need to, please know that.
I am beside you 100%, no matter what!!!! Sleep as much as you can and take it easy! Allow your body to rid itself of this horrible addiction.

Hi Rozeo, I tapered, and then wanged a bunch down for one last blast - that led to a couple/three more days of getting buzzed for me also. I'm a classic addict. If I have it, I'll use it, although I brought some 7.5s on a recent windsurf trip and didn't use. It's too F---ng much pain to go through that WD bullshit every other week! I want my life back. It's a shame we have to experience pain first before we finally surrender. I want to congratulate you on your decision to do this. It does my heart good to read about what you're doing. We're here for you.

One of the minor symptoms I hated were the restless legs (RLS). Seems minor until it happens while in bed trying to sleep. The local drugstore has some stuff for that - I can't remember what the name of it is, but they will. RLS will go away in a couple of days. That little RLS detail alone makes me want to stay on this side of the wall!

Keep on keeping on, don't use no matter what. Keep writing us!

thank you robert and jen, so far today, I have slept as much as possible, my tailbone a broke years ago is throbbing in pain, I took IB profin. I am sneezing, watery eyes and nose and yawning excessively. The severe diareah has not hit yet but I know its coming.
No P's today. Im trying.
