Just wanted to say hello, i was a member a while ago under a different name- I started Suboxone in late 2007 and did well with it. No problems since that time.
I decided to become a addiction counselor and am in college to continue my education and eventually work privately. I also am an advocate/educator for Buprenorphine treatment now because there is a great deal of misunderstanding about the drug and the treatment guidelines. I like to help people who need support while they fight to change their lives.

Oh I am so glad that you are here, I am on Suboxone and have been for over a year. It has changed my life. I am a group leader for my suboxone program here, and have helped many here get on suboxone. But, have seen that not all places work like the one that I am at. Which is soo disappointing. At my center, we go every Monday, give urine tox screens, do vitals, have mandatory group meetings, have the option to see our subuxone doc, but have to every month, after group. Have random pill counts. You get 3 strikes and you are out. Because there are people dying to get into the program. The people that I am dealing with here, have met with their docs, and they give them a certain amount and send them out the door. No group, no checking back, nothing. At my center, when I started, I sat there until my level was found, 24 mg, and that has been my level for over a year. I can't believe that the docs don't understand that group therapy is also a necessity to go along with the suboxone treatment. I am on it for chronic pain/addiction. I would love to be friends with you and together help others. I am again, so happy that you are here!!

Nana, here in Maine doctors won't prescribe suboxone unless the addict is in a treatment program, because of how addiction works. It would be difficult to take suboxone as prescribed without some kind of addiction help.

    So mad at Xfinity!  They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today!  Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
