Thanks for sharing your story, to answer your question, those born premature are at greater risk of having mental health issues like Anxiety and depression. - i too suffer from these, and attribute them to my premature birth.
I have also spoken to many other adults born premature that say the same thing, so i decided to set up a facebook group, and website www.adultpreemies.com to try and connect us all and share our experiences.
As for the medication, i am unaware if there is anything specific for those born premature, but i have been on a few different ones with varying success.
