Even before I got pregnant my husband and I have been trying to think of names. We found out now that we are having a girl, but we can't seem to think of any names that we both like. I like really different names, and sometimes like ones that are a normal name, with one letter changed. He likes either very common names, or names that have to do with Greek mythology, which I can't stand. I love the names Suri, Maleah and Jaiha, but he says he doesn't like any of them. He likes Chloe, Emma, Hera, Claire (which I don't mind, but I'm not in love with it) and Valkyrie.
I don't want my baby to have to go by her last initial because she has someone in her class with the same name. I liked that my name was a bit different (its Shanna) and I never had to be called Shanna G. Any suggestions of some different names that I can bring up with him?
