Anyone have rhinitis of pregnancy? I havent been diagnosed but I've had sneezing, runny nose, drainage, congestion....for about I'd say 2 months now. I brought a neti pot and nasel saline to clean it out I use it once sometimes twice a day. But the drainage is killing me I think its what causing my vomiting about 90% of the time. Is there anything I can do for it? Will it go away? Do you have it your entire pregnancy? Thanks for the help. Hugs Monica.

I have suffered from this my whole pregnancy. I am now 31 weeks and ever since the beginning have had horrible sinus drainage/congestion/ runny noses/sneezes....you name it. On top of that I also have the stuffy ears all the time. I can't wait to have the baby, then I will be able to hear normal again! I haven't used anything for it, don't want to use the meds if I don't have to. I have found that for the congestion that I can use a warm mist humidifier and that seems to help me sleep more comfortably. I know it's just a side effect of the hormones and it will go away once I give birth.

I had no idea that was what it was called but I definately have something going on with my sinus' and it is directly related to being pregnant because I had the same thing the whole time during my pregnancy with my son. I don't have as much of a runny nose as a super dry nose and inflamed sinus'. I have to be very careful when I blow my nose because I am getting nose bleeds very easily now and had the same with my other pregnancy. I have to be very careful because I feel like it's always on the verge of turning into a sinus infection (you know that hot dry burning feeling in your cheeks?) I was on antibiotics and anti-inflamation meds with my son. I THINK I recall in my last couple months it eased up... I'm not 100% sure but I do know that I haven't ever had this feeling for this long without being pregnant and it did go away for sure when I delivered. It causes me a LOT of head aches as well.

My nose is so stuffy and I get nose bleeds a few times a day. I have never had this happen before with any other pregnancies. I can't wait for it to end lol.
