Not really sure what happened but it happens all the time with me. I fought a sinus infection anda viscoius cough from weeks 6 to 10. The sudden coughs would cause that feeling, but my thought is its a muscle spasm. You muscles and tendons are loosening and stretching and I think that sudden muscle contraction really thros them for a loop.

I also wanted to day how hapy I am to see you upgrading from the IF group to the pregnancy group. I'm also a friend with Nanda1979 and have been following your story through her. Congrats again and take care!

I forget what they call that, but it's totally normal. I had it a lot during the first few months of my pregnancy. Getting up or moving too fast did it every time!!! It would literally take my breath away for like 30 seconds. Felt like forever! If you are concerned at all though, ask your doc about it. They can give you the actual name for what you are experiencing, and remember: no question is a stupid one! Better to be safe than sorry. :)

Lilli, I think you may be talking about rounded ligament...syndrome? I know the rounded ligament part is right.

I've been having a lot of fun with that today. Everytime I stand up, I feel a cramp running just inside either hip, up towards my navel. Nothing scary, but like you are saying, a little breath-taking.

I pulled a musle there when I was about 10 weeks along and my OBGYN sent me to a chiropractor to help stop the pain. It helped me so much in just a few treatments. You may talk to your doc and see what they say.
