I know this subject has been talked about before but I am just at my wits end.I dont know what to do before I lose it.Who else is dealing with depression? And what have you done to help it?

I can relate. I miss my husband when he's working, and my son when he's at school. I feel so alone in the daytime. It drives me bonkers and sometimes i cry! I know it sounds weird, but sometimes when i get in those moods i go out and watch a movie,go shopping, or visit friends.

Work is what really keeps me going. Here I am busy and I dont really have time to think about everything. When I'm home its crazy and I feel that nobody understands me.It makes me think that maybe I am crazy.

Oh no honey, if you're going crazy than I am the Mayor of Crazytown!! I don't have work right now and I've been dealing so much with depression that they still have me on the Prozac that I was on before I got pregnant. I just keep reminding myself that it's 99% hormones... if I felt like this and wasn't growin a human inside of me than they could take me to the funny farm but for right now I have an excuse dammit!!! lol

I just joined this group and what do you know...I am not alone in my feelings...YEAH...I too am feeling depressed and guilty that I am not thrilled to be pregnant. Tray34, I am with you and then some. My doctor's have taken me off of all my meds for now and it is a battle to keep my head above "water" as well. One simple activity that seems to take the edge off is walking. I know...trivial...but this helps. Know that you are not alone my friend.

When I found this site i was looking around on google for ways to help me with depression. I'm 20 wks with twins, my first, and I'm having a hard with depression as well. Your not alone. What helps me is writing in my journal, and knowing that I'm not alone, and the adivce people give me as well. Everyone here is such a big help. Also knowing that I'll have two beautiful babies in oct. cheers me up, its hard to deal with all the emotions and all, but hang in there!.
