This is TMI and embarrassing for me, but I've notice the last couple weeks I have an odor down there. I told my doctor last time I was there that I thought I had an infection and he told me to use an external cream for itching and take baking soda baths. Well the itching has been gone for a few weeks but I've noticed a weird odor and an increase in dischange. I know the dischange is normal in pregnancy anyways so I dont know if its bad or what it could be. Anyone know if its normal or could it be an infection or what? Thanks for you help. Hugs Monica.

I would definitely go into the doctor's office and have a culture taken. It could be something totally harmless, like a yeast infection, but nonetheless, you want to get it taken care of quickly.

A couple guesses for you could be either a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. i have a good understanding of both bc ive had them recurring. they suck bad, and your symptoms show signs of one or the other. i would get cultures taken and the dr can tell you for sure. you prob know about bacterial vaginosis, but if you have any questions let me know. im battling another infection right now; i've taken medicines for both and im still having symptoms, so i don't know what's wrong. but i hope you feel better:)

I would definitely call the doctor and see if there is something there. It's probably a yeast infection, but to be on the safe side, go in and get it checked out!

I am having discharge as well. It's not blood, it like brown in colour and there's not very much. Is this what you have? I know that things are fine with the baby cause I can feel it kicking all the time, but I don't know what the discharge is? HELP!

I had the same thing happen several weeks ago. I thought it was a yeast infection and treated it at home. But I finally went to the dr. and it was a bacterial infection. The cream she gave me worked wonders. Take care!!

I would get it checked out because I've had an infection in my uterus before & it was the worst pain ever! Not to mention it's not good for the baby. So just be on the safe side and get it checked. :O)

Well I had it checked today and its nothing no infection. Thats great news. He thinks it could just be where I have more dischange since Im pregnant and I thought it was something and really it wasnt. The odor he said its probabaly just my heighted smell. Well atleast I dont have an infection. Thanks for the help. Hugs Monica.
