No and I hope your doctor is monitoring the use of your medication while you are on it cause medications can be tricky during pregnancy. If you are having depression due to the pregnancy hormones then I would recommend other methods to treat the depression, if you were having depression before that, I would seek professional guidance on what and what not to take.

I am not taking any right now...but the doctor I go to said they would prescribe them if needed. They said that it is better for the baby sometimes to take the medication. It depends on your situation. If you have a history of depression...just let them know and they will prescribe something that is okay to take while pregnant.

i took meds for my last one and she is perfectly fine. I am not on any this time however. I take a vitamin therapy designed for mood disorders and will continue to do so through out.

medication sometimes is warnted. each of us is different. and the first time around i could not be without them.

I am taking paxil for anxiety. My doc okayed it because me stressed and anxious was worse for baby then me taking the meds.

Some antidepressants and some benzodiazapines are safe, others definitely are not. You need to check with your dr, but when I was pregnant with my first daughter, I was told zoloft and klonopin were safe, but that you can't take klonopin after week 30 because of the risk of the baby being born dependent on it. In the end I just took the zoloft, but I know there are others that are safe and some that are definitely NOT safe. Good luck.
