My life hasn't changed too much yet. I still go out to concerts and music shows every once in a while. Go to dinner parties, etc.

I still go out to pubs etc just don't drink. Never really been much of a 'party person' so not missing out on any clubs! I think when you're pregnant you see your own mother differently and develop a new kind of respect for what she went through having you. I have anyway! Also I am single, and have a lot of respect for people doing this alone. Pregnancy can be really tough under certain circumstances and not always the happy amazing time it's viewed as. I look up to other single mums much more now. My social life has changed because I am the first of all my friends to get pregnant, and had to drop out of uni, so I'm away from most of my friends the majority of the time. I have grown up a lot and now relate more to older women, as well as people my own age.

No more parties is kind of depressing! I still go hang out tho, my life isn't too much different. I still love to go out to dinner and movies, I just eat more and drink less. TONS of water is important though! I guess one big difference is that I don't go to the bars at all. There aren't any none smoking here and I try to avoid the secondhand smoke. I still like the same tv shows, books and music. I guess those pregnant shows look a little bit more interesting now. The new movie they have comming out looks funny, but I know I wouldn't like it if I wasn't pregnant. I don't look up to any of the celebrities, they aren't even really pregnant women, they aren't working or dealing with life. They have people that tell them what to eat and so often they are electing for early induction or CSections. If there is anybody I look up to in the pregnant department it is a friend. I go out to eat a lot. I don't go to the bars anymore. We go over and hang out with friends at least once a week. I still like the same music (White Stripes, Tom Waits, Scroobius Pip vs Dan Le Sac, etc) and the same shows, the Office, Heroes, Dr Who. I guess if I like any preggo celeb it would have to be Jessica Alba.

i love and respect my mum soo much more!!! and have grown closer to my father as he is really excited about a grandchild.

i was quite unsociable before getting pregnant, was always getting invites to functions/parties but choosing not to go, but now i want to be around so many more good friends as i want my child to be part of a big support network.

i feel like it has given me a new lease on life...
