Prolly not, but be careful if u do plan on doing it, and also make sure the area is well ventilated to avoid the fumes. Or get one of those white face cover things.

If you plan on painting, i wouldn't do it for long time periods. and as soon as you feel any discomfort or fatigue, i would stop. are u using safe paint that you're able to breathe in? im not sure about pregnancy and breathing paint in, but i would be on the safe side and also wear a doctor mask or something. and also, open all your windows to let the fumes out. but as always, checking with your doctor would be best if your worried! :) good luck and happy painting...ill be doing the same in a couple weeks:)

my doc says it the fumes you ahve to worry about. they said i could if i absolutely needed to but to only use a latex based paint and keep it ventilated. but it was best not to do it at all. however, women have been doing it for YEARS so i say just open all the windows. listen to your body when you need to sit or get some fresh air and enjoy...good luck. what color are you painting.

I would try to use low or no VOC paint. Ventilate as much as possible. Take it easy on yourself an don't do too much at a time. Figure out ways to take breaks as you need them. Wrap your brushes in saran wrap and refrigerate them so you don't have to wash them out every time, put your roller pan in a trash bag during breaks, etc.

My grandmother blamed her 1st child's death on painting (60 plus years ago so who knows what was in that paint plus just medically it was 60 plus years ago, so who knows) and was furious with my mom when she painted my room while she was pregnant. Thinks have changed a lot in that time too though.

My dr. said to open the windows and doors and you will be fine....just take your time if u get tired or dizzy stop:)

Flat and eggshell latex paints don't have as much fumes at the glossy's. if your's is non toxic then don't worry about fumes, but keep it well ventilated anyways!
all the bending and stretching is fine, if anything it'll do you good. if you get sore or tense stretch it out or take a walk or a break.
