Oh blimey...in need of some encouraging words LOL

I'm 36w1d and all of a sudden have come over with an overwhelming sense of frustration.
Saw my midwife this morning and she didn't mention any signs of engaging or progress (although I have had a heavy achey feeling on my cervix for almost a week)...just got to see a DR in 2 weeks time for routine 38week appt

Suffering pelvic gurdle pain and using crutches...also feeling huge

I'm just so ready for baby to start making her way out...next week would be nice but I don't see it happening :(

Any words of wisdom ladies?

P.S. That rant felt great! :)

oh i hear you on the pelvic pain. crutches do sound good. i've been dealing with it since the 4th month. getting dressed is almost impossible, laying down and getting up causes me to want to scream.
I've supposedly have 2 weeks now. but i'll tell you i was at the same stage of AHHHH!!!!!!! last month
now...i'm just sitting, waiting if he'll ever come. sometimes during this stage, i feel forever pregnant.
do you shirts still fit? mine barely cover my lower tummy now.
i hope you feel some reliefe soon, and that little baby will come out, and be a blessing.

You can sooo do this. I feel your pain. I understand wanting to meet your child. Just keep thinking that the safest, best place for the baby to be is in your womb, at this time. Do what ever you can to distract your mind. I will pray for you.

Hi sweetie. I understand that feeling for sure!!! You are the other lady with SPD right??

With my daughter, she engaged at 20 weeks and I felt very uncomfortable!! I thought that was tough to deal with... but I think it would be worse if she hadn't of! I can only imagine the frustration of wondering when it will happen...

I know every week you are pregnant makes a difference to the baby. But I know that every week you are pregnant adds to those feelings of despair and frustration!! My mum likes to tell me we are pregnant for so long so that when we go into labour, we are not scared but looking forwards to it.... I think there may be some truth to that comment :) xx

Luminous...luckily I have alot of long shirts and tops so I am not having the trouble of being exposed aswell.
Tgirl...I can totally understand that the womb is the best place for baby at the moment and in a way want to keep her in as close to 40 weeks as I can for her sake but at the same time wanting things to speed up lol
Ruth...that is so true what your Mum said...made me LOL, she has a very good point and I shall remember that whenever I'm feeling frustrated so that it brings a smile to my face :)
Yeah I'm the one with SPD (along with Rheumatoid Arthritis which is at it's worst in my hips and pelvis anyway).
I think half the trouble is because I have been on Maternity Leave for so long, my doc wanted me to start it at 29 weeks because of my arthritis and stresses at work.

I have a theory...we are going to do our last big baby shop tomorrow and get absolutely everything we need but have not yet got so I figure once we have done that then I can keep myself busy finding a place for everything etc
