I can't see your pics but everyone grows at different rates, I was told I look big too (my pic is old), I am nearly 20 weeks, and I've gained 20lbs..Doc wasn't concerned. I am short too, with a very short torso doc said there is just no room but out. Don't worry about it.

I keep getting the exact same remarks. I'm 25 weeks and people keep asking me if I'm due soon. One of my doctors asks me at every visit if I got my dates right. I'm just small and short, so there's nowhere to go but out!

This is my 2nd pregnancy & I'm only 33 weeks, 2 days & I have gained over 40 lbs. No one can believe I'm not due until mid-October (except my doctors of course). Everyone thinks I must be having twins, lol! Everyone grows at different rates. I too, am short. Only 5 foot tall so I've been growing out super fast. It's normal for a lot of women to get bigger faster the 2nd time around, especially when ur short. :)

I know how you feel. I'm 29 weeks and have gained 32 lbs!!! It's all in my tummy but I don't know. I'm pretty small too and my husband is 6ft 4in. I was just talking to his mother who told me he was 10lbs 9 oz. when he was born. My OB said there's not much I can do about it and she expects that I will gain about 1lb per week until I deliver. I knida feel like crying because I started out at 128lbs. and now all I can think is how will I ever get back to that weight?

When I was pregnant with my first I got pretty big, I gained total somewhere near 55 pounds. I lost is all after she was born just by eating right (after all I wasn't growing a baby anymore) I remember the comments "you must be having twins" "holy cow you're as big as a house" I am not short (5"6' 130lbs normally) but I also don't give a crap what those people say...pregnant women get big bellies...that is where the baby is! Try not to let them get you down...they are probably the same people who will call your precious little baby a chunky monkey.
I am 13 weeks along now...and following the same path I did in 2006 ;-) FOOD BEWARE I AM LOOKING FOR YOU!! Pregnant women are beautiful!

If you are healthy & baby is healthy, I wouldn't worry about what others say or think about how big you are. It's no one's business but your own. I remember I was asked when I was maybe a bit over 25 weeks when I was due & when I told the lady she was dumbfounded and made stupid remarks as to whether I'm having twins or whatever. I ended up getting gestational diabetes & now at almost 36 weeks my baby boy is estimated to weigh 7 lbs, but you know, he's healthy & doing good so far...just a bit big. But so what...he's a chunky monkey & has fat cheeks...but he's mine.

You're beautiful & all pregnant women w/ their big bellies are beautiful (even though we may not feel like it a lot of the time, LOL!!).
