I have been having horrible cramps the last few days in my upper abdomin, and they are excrusiating. They are not next to my pelvis and they are not in one place. ITS ALL OVER! Sometimes they get so bad that I can barley stand. Can anyone give me any ideas as what it could be? BTW I am 5 weeks pregnant

Did you have a c-section with your daughter? I understand that there can be scar tissue from a past c-section and it can be pulled and be very painful when your uterus stretches for a second baby.

I also know that at 20 weeks, I was sleeping in a really strange position and got something like a charlie-horse in my abdomen from that. I bought a maternity pillow and haven't had that since.

Some people might think implantation...but that sounds too severe of pain to be that.

I'd call your doctor!

definately call your doc. It could be an eptopic pregnancey. If you are ever feeling not ok, call!

I just wanted to let you guys know that I went to the hospital and they told me I am misscarrying. I have what they call a blighted ovum. The baby passed away and now my body is going thru expelling it. Thanks all who were supportive, and good luck in your pregnancys
