There's so much, and what I found is that I didn't really need a lot of the things I received. What has been and still is a life saver are: 1) Diaper Genie 2) Diaper Genie Refills 3) Baby Nail Clippers 4) Clothes 6+ mos 5) Noise/Project Machine 6) Bouncy/Rocker Chair 7) High Chair 8) Car Seat/Stroller (it was REALLY nice receiving this as a gift rather than purchasing) 9) Moby Wrap or Carrier 10) Diapers and Wipes! Best baby gifts ever :)

Those are my top ten that I can think of. This time around my parents got us a Sams membership, and that thing is paying off for loading up on diapers and wipes. Good luck, I hope you find exactly what you need!

To add: health and grooming kit,gas drops, bottle washer, bottles, monitors (if you think you will need them), pack-n-play/bassinet, onesies. I am having a fall/winter baby so I wanted a carseat cover.

Phew!! Babies need a lot of things!

I put a swing on mine along with a diaper genie and refiles, grooming kit, medical kit, a carrier, a car seat cover, bouncy, blanket sleepers/swaddlers that babies can sleep in, monitors, some bottles (for when I have to start pumping breast milk), cloth diapers, bibs , socks, humidifier, toys, receiving blankets, some pacifiers (but not a lot), baby monitors, pack and play with a bassinet, baby wash, baby lotion, baby powder, bath gift sets, diaper bags, walker, two different car seats (an infant one and a grow with child one), potty training seat, diaper rash creams, diapers and wipes, sippy cups, a baby bath, milk storage bags since I plan on breastfeeding, some cooling gel packs for the boobies. Remember though your going to give birth to a newborn, you don't just have to put newborn stuff on there. Try to think about what your going to need for the first year of your child's life and add that to the registry/ies. I had a ton of clothes on there too but I took them off as I received 5 boxes of clothes from someone and am set in that area.

I also have it where people can get me gift cards too. Sometimes people just don't know what else to get you but that. Hope it helps.

I agree to try to think about 6 months and up stuff! You will most likely get tons of newborn stuff whether you register for it or not. That phase only lasts a few months though and then you start running out of everything! Its nice to be set on clothes for longer than 3 months. I got a ton of newborn stuff from my shower and a few friends gave me boxes of clothes everywhere from newborn to 12 months and it was great not having to buy so many clothes that whole first year!

Also be prepared for tons of those adorable bath gift baskets. I didn't put any of these on my registry because I knew these would be the cheaper things that would be more affordable for myself to buy. My son is almost 18 months now and we've still got baby shampoo from the baby shower!! Oh well!
