I did get DH a Father's Day gift last year and I was due in July as well. I actually make kind of a big deal about it and got him the grill he's been wanting, along with the charcoal, utensils, and steaks ;)

I was thinking, since we are trying to save money, about getting a book or two that he could read to the baby.. like a daddy child book - just something little

I'm getting my husband a manly diaper bag. it's a messenger type bag that he picked out a while ago. We're trying to save money too, so that's all I'm getting him. i also got him the cutest card from daughter to daddy. It makes me cry every time I see it.

We are trying to save money, so even on Mother's Day (which is a hard day for me anyway since my mom passed 2 years ago) we decided to just go spend the day at the beach together. Normally we would go to church and then do housework, so it was different and a good fun day. If you are trying to save money I would suggest something you can do together like that and then maybe something that he has been wanting as well.

mu husband is a steeler's fan...and a couple of weeks ago I saw a steeler's t-shirt that said world's greatest dad. I was thinking of getting that along with a baby steeler's outfit (we should find out the gender next Saturday). Also, maybe a a daddy parenting book or something.

I want to wait until he is actually a dad to get stuff...and I asked him to do the same on mother's day. We are trying to save money too. I also am afraid of jinxing anything and want to wait until the baby is here before that stuff, but I agree it is good to make it a special day and celebrate the upcoming joy!

I'm doing just a card. We are due any day now but it could be Father's day before the baby actually arrives. I tell DH that's his present!!
