Oh yes... get used to it! lol I am now 16.5 weeks and it has let up just a bit. I feel hot all the time. I laughed when I saw that you sit around in your underwear because I was doing the same thing. Now I wear jammy shorts and a tank top. I go through stages where I am so hot I can not sleep, and I wake up in middle of the night sweating. It is just hormones. As long as there is no fever you will be uncomfortable fine. lol

23.5 weeks and DYING here!!!

I was this way in my first trimester,
I had to keep the air on 65 all day and night
which caused my boyfriend to walk around shivering
if he wasn't fully clothed.

Now at 22 weeks, it's completely different. I'm back to normal
and actually get cold at night for a change.

Everyone in my family tells me about the 'hot months' during
pregnancy but they said it was later on. I guess maybe i just hit it early

I go through periods of hot and cold. From the day we got pregnant I had night sweats really bad and my DH (being all motherly) would wake up in the middle of the night, see me laying on top of the blankets, cover me up, and snuggle. I finally told him to get off because I was soooo hot. I am so glad I will not be in last tri in the middle of summer. With the heat and humidity it's already been over 100!

Most of the time I'm comfortable, which is a nice change from freezing all year round (if I wasn't married, I would keep my a/c on 80!)

So the warmth has been nice, but there are times when I have flashes and I'll be uncomfortably hot or freezing. I'm usually the warmest at night and DH get so sad b/c I don't want to cuddle anymore!

I'm 8 weeks and I get so hot that I feel like I'm gonna pass out and I walk around in my underwear quite a bit too. I was just frying all the time and then last week I was going back and forth from freezing to death in 90 degree weather to opening all the windows at 4am cuz I thought I was gonna die from the heat and everyone else was freezing. I'm sleeping alone down stairs now so I can open the windows without freezing everyone else out of the room. I was the same way with my first two pregnancies and I think at about 12 or 14 weeks with both I wasn't so hot all the time so I hope it gets better for ya, sorry this was so long.

35 weeds tomorrow and burning up all the time..

It's comforting to know I'm not the only one strutting around in my underwear of an evening :)

YES!!! I realized very early on that i was getting warmer than usual. Then i got worse. I would take Cold showers to cool me off. It's not that hot where we are but my skin feels like it's on fire. I could sleep at night so my husband put a fan in our room. That didn't really help much so now I sleep with an Ice Pack. It helps my get through the night. You might want to try it. They are really cheap so we bought a few of them so there is always a cold one in the freezer. What a lifesaver. Hope this helps! Also i'm in love with the freezer section in the store =D

I had the same thing in my first trimester, I had to sleep with the air and the fan on. I'm 26 weeks now, and it's gone. I would wake up covered in sweat. The fan and air lowered would help a lot. Also a nice cool not necessarily cold, pack would help alot too.
