Hi All,

I'm so happy to have made it to 14 weeks :-) I'm busting out of most my pants and finally went to the maternity store today. I picked up some leggings that look like jeans.

The store had a little must have list, what would be your 2nd trimester must have's? where did you buy them?

Hello! Congrats on completing the first trimester! I have purchased all of my maternity clothes online from Kohls. I found that they have the best deals, so far I have purchased 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of black leggings, a few tanks with ruching on the sides, two coverups, a few t-shirts, and a couple of cotton 3/4 shirts for when it gets cold again. I purchased all of these on Kohls.com, and paid around $110. Everything fit true to size. I normally wear a 10 in jeans, ordered mediums, and they were perfect! Also, you can normally find online coupon codes for Kohl's at www.retailmenot.com, and if you spend over $50, you typically get free shipping. Also, if you don't like anything you purchase, for any reason, they make it super simple to return things!

I had also purchased a pair of jeans and a few tops from Old Navy, but ended up returning them because I didn't think they were a very good quality!

Motherhood Maternity also has nice things, but I think they are on the expensive side, and I can't bring myself to pay so much for clothes that I will probably wear for less than 6 months.

Also, I tried on several maternity bras, and was very disappointed in the fit. So I purchased Champion sports bras from Target to sleep in for extra support.

I am 14 weeks with twins, so I busted out of my pants weeks ago. I have a couple of maternity dresses which are FANTASTIC! I also bought a pair of maternity jeans and a pair of shorts, but I have yet to get any shirts. I am currently still sporting some shirts from my "fat clothes" collection because they were way too big a few months ago and now fit quite nicely. I HATE the shirts that have the gathered stuff at the sides, but I have had the hardest time finding shirts that I do like. They are next on my list since I will definitely be needing some cold weather tops soon. So far, I have gotten my jeans at Old Navy and my shorts and super cute maternity bathing suit (which I have only gotten to wear twice) at Target. I have looked at some things online, but I honestly hate buying clothes online because I prefer to try them on to make sure I like the way they look on me before I pay for them. :)

I haven't gotten to the point of needing larger clothes yet, we are just 11 weeks, but I have a feeling it's right around the corner. I want to try the local thrift stores/consignment stores first. Since I don't know how long I'll be in each item, I hate to spend alot of $$. And since I'm a jeans & t-shirt kind of gal, I'm hoping those items will be easy to find. I also want to try a store called Herbergers, don't know how widespread they are, but they seem to have REALLY good sales. We'll see how frugal I can get this done. :)

Hey,, sounds great!!! :) :) Congratulations!!
Yup I'd gone through some maternity clothes like leggins, jeans and tops but that to from online stores like you might have heard about Motherhood maternity, then from eBay, denim maternity shorts, Amazon etc
And lastly my best wishes are with you!!
