This is only my 1st pregnancy so I haven't been through exactly what you're going through, but I feel you on the lack of male emotional support. My ex wants to be there for me but gets upset when I go off. Yesterday I was trying on some maternity clothes I bought. They were mostly dresses. I took one dress off and tried on a flowy top. He laughed and asked, "Where are you going to wear that?? Oh, is that just for around the house? You're not wearing that out right?" I was so offended. I blew up. Turns out he thought it was a really short dress. Dumb@$$. Anyway, once I realized what he meant it was too late. I was emotional. He was upset that I was so emotional about it and couldn't understand why it bothered me. Anyway, back to you... in my short-lived experience, I don't think men will ever understand what we are going through. We need to cut them a little slack on that, but not on being full on jerks. Next time, I'll ask questions before blowing up, but I can't promise I won't be just as emotional even after I know what he's saying.

You are not alone.. I m 7 weeks this is my first pregnancy and have no support I can't work anymore. My body wants rest all the time but my husband doesn't like when I sleep much. It upsets him. So every morning when he wakes me up I ask hi to let me sleep, as my nights are pretty stressful, he gets angry. Not only him​ but my sister in law is also upset cus now she has to cook daily though she has a 4 year old. She acts around showing her frustration. Yelling around. When she doesn't understand i don't expect my husband to.
