So i am turning this into my own personal complaining board but i am not sure where to let it out other than here. I am having a "being pregnnt" sucks day. I am dying to have cigarette. booze, deli meat, rare beef. Lots of seafood and diet soda! i am already tired of being restricted and i am onky about 12 weeks along. I am sure i will get over it but i cant stop being a big ol ball of emotions : ( i find myself always apoligizing for being so cranky and always complaining. Hope i doont make to any enemies for the next 7months lol. Thanks for listening everyone : )

Deli meat, sea food, and diet soda won't kill you. I have them while pregnant. Granted I don't gorge on them. Obviously no cigs or booze. LOL

I think this is the perfect place to let it out! I pass a Jimi Johns and oh my goodness, when I wasn't pregnant, no biggie, I couldn't care less. Now ALL I WANT is a sandwich PACKED with deli meats! And a lager, I keep craving lagers! It's tough, 100% worth it, but tough!

Right there with you! In the beginning I just didn't want to take any chances with all the fear surrounding some of these things. I think I started incorporating some things slowly back in right around 13-14 weeks cause I just couldn't take it anymore. I now let myself have heated up deli meat, 1/2 cup of coffee in the mornings and now a few sips of hub's wine or beer every now and then. I really think some of these pregnancy restrictions have gotten a little crazy. Of course, everything in moderation. Vent away! It's good for us!!

I don't think eating deli meats and sea food or drinking a soda will hurt you. Of course I don't eat meat so I don't really know the restrictions on those but I have a soda whenver I want one. I find it too stressful to go without it than to have one when I want one. And I've had those days where a glass of wine and a cigarette sound like the best thing in the world. But I won't let anyone smoke around me and as much as I wouldn't mind a drink of wine and I know it's perfectly safe for me to have an occasional half glass, I don't see myself actually taking advantage of this.
