This doesn't sound like a good environment.
I am sorry for what you are having to deal with as you should have no stress. Difficult I know but your partner should be understanding and treat you a little better.
I hate the arguments.
Reading your writing I connected with you as I could sense I have been there. I am there again mind but I am silly.
Me and partner argue also. A lot. Its easier if I go along with him because then he wont argue. The thing I hate about arguments is he says things and does the name calling bit, it hurts me. It hurts more now I am pregnant, more sensitive and hormonal I guess. Also words cannot be taken back.
I have 2 children 1 aged 12 and my eldest 13.
I am 13 weeks pregnant. He is not the father of my 2 children. We have been together 7 years. Each of my child has a different dad. Oops, but you cannot stick with someone that is not good for you and the child/children. I took his surname. I did double barrell with my second child, I regret it, I wish they had my surname I really do. The previous fathers do not and have never bothered with my children once we seperated.
My partner now of 7 years did not want this baby - I could not abort - not what I am. I just could not put myself through it. He is now coming round to the ide but he wanted it all hushed up and hidden. Made me feel like the last 7 years have been nothing and we have just had a one night stand or something. Admittedly it was not planned and not what we wanted but it has happened and things happen for a reason.
Sorry to go on. Hard to put it in to words, what I am saying is follow your heart, listen to your voice. Do what you are comfortable with. If you are not comfortable with it do not do it. Even to satisy someone else.
Also shout it to the roof tops you are having a baby. He cannot be all for it and loving it one minute and then hushing it up the next.
Ask him why he wants you to remain quiet about it?
Also know that I raised my children on my own for the first 5 - 6 years of their lives, I loved every minute of it. Of course it was hard also but I had no-one to answer to apart from my self. I found parenting easier on my own.
I dont want to do it on my own this time though. But if it comes to it I know I can do it.
Take care
