Usually it's anywhere between 18 and 20 weeks. We found out at 17 weeks since we are going to a high risk specialist as well as a regular OB, where they have very good technicians and equipment.

We found out at 19 weeks... I think it is right around 18-20 weeks :)

I am seeing a high risk doc like phoenix, I had an u/s at 13 weeks but the tech would not tell us the sex. She said we had to wait until our level II u/s to find out, that way she can be more sure. We found out at our 20 week appointment.

We were suppose to find out at our 18 week ultrasound, but baby was too low to get a good picture. Mom said than that it was a girl for sure because she was low. So we had to wait until our next ultrasound which was at 28 weeks. It was a 3-D ultrasound too. It proved my mom right. We were having a girl.

I was 16 weeks by ultrasound and 17 weeks by my last cycle when we found out we are having a boy. :)

I found out when I was 19 weeks and they said that was even early. I had them reconfirm at my 4/D when I was 28 weeks.

I found out on Thursday and I am 19 weeks. I'm pretty sure it needs to be at least 16 weeks just to be more accurate.

I had an ultrasound at 8 weeks, 11 weeks, 12 weeks, and 13 weeks (I was in the hopsital for a lot of first trimester and then got a uti right after, so they wanted to make sure the baby was still kicking it). They couldn't tell at any of those ultrasounds for me what the sex was. I have an ultrasound scheduled for october first and that's the 20 week one- my ob said that's the one in which you find out the sex of the baby usually.

I am 15 weeks and asked my doc when we can find out. He said the best time is 18-20 weeks. Its the best time because they can check everything out about the baby at the same time. They can make sure that things are going well.
