I found out I am 8 weeks pregnant. I have had a pregnancy scare before and when I told my dad whom I have an iffy relationship with, things didn't go well. My mom is supportive because she understands. I live with my dad's parents though. They won't be angry but disappointed. Now that I actually am pregnant how do I tell them? They went through extensive lengths to make sure I was on birth control but I didn't keep up with it and haven't been on it for months. I know they will be angry because I lied about my birth control. My boyfriend wants me to keep it and I do too but I also know this is a huge thing. Im stuck and scared.
It's best to tell them sooner as baby needs care vitamins and ultrasounds. You can also work out a plan down the road of what your going to do.
Your parents may be mad at first as they will fear your future is ruined. It won't be. They will need time to process you having a child as well. Don't take what they say personally as it may be anger talking at first. Feel free to vent on here
