Hi ladies, can u let me know what to do to cope. I'm 7 weeks pregnant went for my first scan, saw a heartbeat at 120 bpm. Aparently it's all normal, but I'm sitting here stressing out that the heartbeat is at the low end of the scale and maybe it's an impending miscarriage.
I no if it doesn't work out its not meant to be, but even if everything is fine I'm going to stress and given my poor history, this is going to continue until I have that baby screaming in my arms.
Please let me know how you are coping.
First, I want to wish you the best of luck and I hope your baby is healthy. Unfortunately there are no magic tricks to dealing with the stress of being pregnant again after a loss. At the beginning like you are, just try to take it one day at a time, think positive thoughts, stay healthy, stay busy, keep a journal. Talk to your doctor about your concerns. Don't forget that you are not alone, there are many of us that are going through the same anxiety right now. All we want is for our babies to live, and no one can understand that better than another angel mom. Feel free to post here or message me if you want to talk.
Take care :)
I'm feeling much better about things today, I have my moments, and there alittle out of control with fear history will repeat on me and I will be left even more heartbroken and lost about why and how things like this can happen. My husband and I have decided that this pregnancy will be our last shot at having a baby because we both would be such a mess if things went bad again, we feel we have done our quota of bad news and tradgety that we just couldn't handle living with anymore heartbreak.
If I do get my beautiful screaming baby at the end of this journey however I no I will want more.
I'm contemplating telling my employer I am pregnant so my days can be more flexible to work around scans and appoitments but this will be the 3rd time in 3 years I have walked in at 13 weeks to say I am pregnant and I feel like 'I'm the fool and the joke is on me' it's sort of like 'are you going to have this baby though'. Unfortunately I don't have answers for that question, all my scans have gone well with no concerns, I have 24hr morning sickness which has chosen to stick around (lucky me). I can't help but think my angel daughter is sending me strength to go on, because if you would have asked me years ago if hypothetically I had a late miscarriage and a stillbirth whether I would try again my instant answer would be NO.
Take care :)
