I just heard about the H1N1 vaccine causing over 3,500 stillbirths and miscarriages, I just thought you all needed to know. Check it out, or talk to you doctor about it. HUGS
I hadn't heard this... I have a friend who is a virology registrar in London and I consulted her before I had the vaccine when I was pregnant with my rainbow, she recommended it... no problems occurred.
During my angel pregnancy conversely, I also consulted her and she said don't have it, so I didn't... go figure..
The H1N1 "VIRUS" does cause miscarriage and stillbirth and (in the UK) at least 2 maternal deaths last year too, the vaccine is meant to prevent that from occurring, that is why they have been recommending it for pregnant women. Definitely do your research though, and make sure you are happy in your mind to weigh up the risks and benefits and make your own decision.
From what I understand it has something to do with the blood type of the mother. I want to say I read somewhere that if you are O+ then you should not get the vaccine. Definitely something to look into.
