(((HUGS))) I hope your OB calls you ASAP!!

I had bleeding for 6 weeks in the first trimester. It was just a small subchorionic hematoma. It resolved itself and did not affect the baby at all. It just caused me tons of worry! Praying that it is only something insignificant like that!!

I did have some bleeding when I was pregnant w/my 3 yearold right around 7 weeks. Still not sure what it was, but it stopped within a few days and everything was fine. Keep us updated, hopefully it's nothing.

Thank you very much for your prayers. My OB was off so the doctor on call (who doesn't know anything about me) talked to me and said to go to ER. I decided not to go. Yes, I know that was crazy but I thought about it and since I wasn't cramping or passing clots I decided to wait it out until that night. I figured that this early in my pregnancy there is not much they can do to stop a miscarriage so I left it in God's hands. I'm already on Prometrium to try to prevent a miscarriage, I don't do much physically, and I take my prenatals and folic acid so I feel like I'm doing everything I can already.

Thankfully the bleeding eased and eventually stopped by midnight NYE. I've only had brown spotting since and no cramps. I'll be seeing my OB tomorrow morning and I pray that it was just 1st trimester bleeding or from the Prometrium.

I will let you guys know how things turn out. I'm only 1 week short of 12wks, I hope make it!

I hope all is well. I had a little bleeding scare about 7 1/2 weeks - it left as soon as it came, but it's still scary. Please keep us updated - you'll be in my thoughts!!

I had bleeding almost identical to this with my almost 3 year old - it terrified me then & that was BEFORE I ever had a loss! I can only imagine how awful it would be now ( I had no physical symptoms with either if my losses) - I was nearly 9 weeks & was out of town. Like you, it resolved itself within 48 hours or so & I went to the doctor ASAP when we got back & he sent me for an ultrasound - they said they could see a "spot" on my uterus that looked like it had come away but nothing that affected baby & everything looked great.

She will be 3 in March :)

Again thank you ladies for all your support. I would be mess without you all. I saw my OB and everything is fine! She was able to pick up the baby's heartbeat with the little doppler. The bleeding was probably because my cervix was very tender and when I inserted the Prometrium (which I dont need anymore, yay!) made me bleed. I take a baby aspirin everyday so that causes me to bleed easier.

My OB told me she had 2 miscarriages before her 2 sons, who were both very high risk pregnancie, so she knows what it feels like to go in and not have a heartbeat. I am so happy she understands where I come from.
