I had a follow up ultrasound yesterday at MFM and it looks great. Heartbeat was 150! Last week's was 108.The corpus luteum (I think) is doing it's job, EDD is 7/25/10 according to ultrasound. According to my OPK I ovulated on or day before my birthday, wow, best birthday present I could have right now!

Thank you ladies so much for helping me get through last week after I thought the heartbeat was too low. I'm very happy to share these wonderful news with you.

@KLH81: I wen t to see MFM back in August to have genetic counseling and to meet and greet the doctor since I had a m/c and then stillbirth. My OB sent me to him again to decide if I needed Lovenox or not and what my plan would be for this pregnancy. We don't know exactly why Michaela passed so I will be monitored by MFM this time around. The only abnormality found was that there was a velamentous cord insertion of the placenta and although it is rare to have this occur in a subsequent pregnancy, we will still keep a close watch on this baby.

Excellent news! I too had my second ultrasound this week....and my due date is 7/28! I failed to ask my ob what the babies heartrates were. All she said was that they are looking good. (probably keeping the info high level since I was so nervous and by myself!) I wonder if it is notated somewhere on my pictures? I'll have to look.

Doesn't it feel awesome to have a great appointment?!?!! I hope I can keep this feeling for the next few weeks....

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
