Prednisone A Curse and A Blessing Community Group
This group is for the many of us that are on Prednisone and hate it! Yes, it heals what ails us, but it also creates another batch of problems!
Is anyone else havinf the symptom of facial and head sweating. It is so bad it is interfering with my daily life in a big was. When its cold enough to see your breath, I am sweating severley. As soon as I get out of the shower it starts up again. When I leave the house I worry about when it will happen and become extremely embarassed when I have soaked my head and am dripping sweat in public. Not only am I the bearded lady from prednisone, I am now the sweaty, bearded lady. I used to really think I was pretty, now I am so insecure I don't wantt o leave the house.

I am sorry ravendani for what you have to go through. I am experiencing the same symptoms, it is embarrassing. Especially when there is ten inches of snow on the ground. I found a towel at Home Depot that you soak in water, wring it out, and wrap around your neck. it has helped with the heat for me. During the winter I wear scarfs and always keep a drying rag on hand to wipe off the pouring sweat. I am not sure any of this will be of help to you, wanted to let you know you are not alone. Just keep on going and tell folks ya just got out of the shower...........that is usually the question people ask me. ha Best wishes, be well.
