What’s the best way to help???

One of my family members are going through a really hard time, and can’t stop drinking.
Meanwhile her husband says he will divorce her if she goes to rehab, or trys to get any kind of help and then put her 4 kids into foster families.
She claims to have been raped in Africa when she did a humanitarian event over there. And her mother (my grandma) is very depressed over her (my aunt) recent suicide attempts.
And so this family member is currently really sick and hospitalized because of her drinking problem but as previously said her husband won’t let her get help.
I really don’t want to lose another close family member in the same year, what do y’all recommend I do for her? I cant really go down there to another state because I’m a senior in high school.
And my parent is debating weather it’s worth it to risk her life by doing a surgery for someone who cheated her millions.

89FNo energy, just going to do whatever. Sandra, It's hard to move at a certain time in life. You've been in your home forever, at least you'll be able to travel to the beach and enjoy. Oh, we did hear Boris Johnson's tenure ended due to a series of ethics scandals, accusations of dishonesty and a final collapse of government support that forced his recognation. What he didn't do like the...

My cat is going on trial for crimes against skink-anity. SIX in six weeks. Three this last week alone. The crack is maybe 1/4 inche wide. Maybe. Skink skitters past, her paw shoots out, her claw hooks in, she yanks, and somehow, having defied physics... WHAM. Skink-o-rama.Now, don't get me wrong, it's nice that she's a pesticidal maniac, but OMG. Skinks do no harm. They don't come inside. WTF.So,...

A domestic violence hotline could probably connect her with a local group.
if she's in hospital, due to drinking, then it's on the record, by professionals. this would be the time CPS would take the kids, NOT if she entered rehab. he's full of you-know-what.
Bless you for caring, 2_Stars. May you find a way to share the care.
Short version? He's controlling her, b/c the drinking means she's in his control, and if she sobers up, he fears she'll see him as he is, and then he loses whatever it is...
But alcoholism/addiction? AlAnon said it well. Love, but from a safe distance. Getting involved will get you hurt, and get you stressed, and the best you can do is offer hugs and listening ear, and then .... it's not yours to fix. I learned this with my family. Addiction --- the patterns people get into, the relationships --- it's easy from outside" but not from inside.
Also her husband seems abusive and controlling. Maybe she could consider leaving him and going to a womens center with her kids. They could also hook her up with resources to get help for her trauma and the drinking.
