Went by where my car was bombed

My hotel is 4 blocks from where during Uruguay's Tupamaro War some guy hit my car with a lit Molotov car bomb with me and my family inside. It was early in the 6 year war. I was 9. It jump-started PTSD for me and my family. I eventually got PTSD treatment, but they never did. They became very regularly violent toward each other and toward me ever after.
Walking by the spot where that happened is necessary to get around town from my hotel. It's where the taxi stand is, where the bus stop is, where the closest restaurant is. So I don't go by it to wallow in the past or even for exposure therapy. I just have to cope with that street corner's existence to go on to anything else and enjoy myself. Kind of the way PTSD is in general as to the rest of my life anyway.
So I walked by it today, stood under the street sign, took a picture, and then went on to a fantastic musical concert half a block away down the same street. Here's who I saw at the show. He played this very song.

Thanks for supporting me in coming here. Fear kept me from coming here for 20 years until I joined DS PTSD. It's great to recover the places of my youth. To see the same landmarks and then get up to date with what's moved on from those days since then and enjoy.
I had a panic attack on the plane on the way down here, but I used my DS PTSD tools to cope with it. I'm glad I did now that I'm here. I didn't know I could be this happy with PTSD.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

I am so glad you are enjoying yourself on your vacation. Awesome, awesome, awesome!! Keep up the good work and go forward with the confidence of knowing you can handle anything that comes up!!
Mmm, concert, awesome song, how cool!

Wish my Spanish was better. Large Turtle/ Tortise?
I'm sorry about the in-flight panic attack AND the (inappropriate for airplane showing) movie scene, but ... glad you're down there, out and about, and .... seemingly ... handling your past better and better each time.
Puede que siempre sea as.
This is a big smile post for me!!... Big hug..x
