I head back to Texas today. The "Blessing or Curse" meditation is expanding to this very expensive venture we have been on. Feeling like it was a waste of money I don't have to spend. Didn't get to see what I came here to see. Spent half my time sick. The MIL/DIL waltz (travelling with the DIL and grandson) has not picked up any new steps I would be proud to show in public. In allot of ways, I feel like we have regressed, but not at all sure.
I am still physically ill. My personal policy is to draw no unnecessary conclusions while I am sick. Physical illness does not promote sound thinking. Physical illness does promote good meditation, though. Still chewing. Blessing or curse? Maybe life is always just a mixed bag.

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

I'd say let it digest a while and then worry about what if anything is new or different.
LIfe is definitely a grab bag.
Supportive vibes and safe travel.

...I'm chronically sick. Pretty much like having a mild case of flu for 13 years, off and on.
...guaifenesin, plus pseudo ephedrine, plus a caffeine pill, plus an antihistamine salad and a full suite of asthma meds...they keep you going, but add a trippy buzz to things. Probably bad if your heart's not in great shape.
Prednisone if my lungs get too swollen...
I went to the UK to see Mr Crazypants with a small pharmacy in my bag ( is that an inhaler in your pants, or are you just happy to see me?).
...when sicker than usual, I also drink a lot of hot white tea with local honey, and thanks to Lilly, either lemon juice or vitamin C.
I gargle with hot salt water ( yuk ), I eat a lot of spicy food, I take zinc supplements ( 50 mg ).
But you probably know THAT drill, you're a mom.
...Hot and sour soup, if you have not had it, is great stuff.
I'm sorry the damn flu bug decided to join your expedition.
Arfie, when you are feeling a bit better I hope you will sit down and find some positives from your trip. Once you find some positives I think you will look at your trip differently. It is always nice to get away, even if it is just to realize how nice it is to come home.
