It wasn't a night to day change, but with acceptance in therapy work in waking hours, the depression gradually receding on awakening, thank goodness. Support to you in this, Cecil.
Then I remind myself that if I don't bother, I'm the big loser on that one, and despite it all---and some ofi t's been kinda big---I have yet to go a day without leaving bed before noon, showering, putting on fresh clohes, tending my personal hygeine, etc.---and while that sounds petty to some, for a lot of folks who hit where I was at, even doing that was a no-go. So that's my personal pep talk. "I ain't quit yet, and I ain't gonna!"
Over time, the days I feel *that* bad have come less often and less intensely.
Gentle hugs and sympathy. You're not alone!

I see a psychiatrist as well as a psychologist. I am on generic lamictal and actually it has helped a lot. I take it in the morning but maybe I should switch to taking it at bedtime???? It doesn't seem to make me wired or tired so I could give it a shot and see if it helps.
