Find support with others who have gone through a traumatic experience. Whether you have chronic or acute PTSD, we are here for you.

The business end of the funeral are going as smoothly as a successful business man can hope for. The funeral director has all the pre-paid details in hand for quite a long time, rechecked and fortified umpteen times over. Hubs seems to be holding steady and grateful for my grounding presence. Seems. . . There is no doubt in my wife-sense that he is struggling mightily. I believe it is important that I let the current focus bee on processing his emotions.
Still, I have emotions in all this, whether I want them, or knot. I am in danger of ? ? ? Do we ever really know what might bubble out of the cPTSD cauldron? Got my therapy tool box in hand and my support dog with me as much as civilized company will allow.
Just an update. Prayers and support sorely needed.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Caring and supportive (((hugs))) xxx
I am hypo-manic and it sure feels great to have a constructive channel. Nurses are not trained for housekeeping and the house sure shows it. Don't know what happened to the housekeeper. The channel for my hypo-mania is simply clearing functional space. It has been a goodly while since there has been room to set a drink between the paper flowers, nick knacks and clutter. I have needed a crow bar to get some of the nick knacks out of the places they have occupied since long before my grandkids were born.
Yup, hubs and I are both glad my support dog is here. Emotional support sorely needed on levels the platitudes can't reach. I am really proud of how well her training is holding up in the chaos. The nurses traumatized her the last time she was here as a young dog and she has been spending most of her time in her kennel. She thinks having her own bed puts the woof in the road trip. It is her guaranteed safe place that even smells like home. Add bone and zip the kennel door to keep her feeling safe from the less friendly strangers.
I am gonna try for a nap now, sympathizers permitting.
Tomorrow starts the dress up portion of the drama. Believe it or not, I even had proper color clothing in my closet. Don't know what fashion season it is from, but. . . Getting the color right is proper enough for this beaten crazy bitch wolf.
Glad to read your cleaning is for mental/physical.
