I know I mentioned what my therapist said about been visual. Nevertheless yesterday my main case manager visited me. I had told her that I didn't want to talk about my therapist and she agreed but yesterday she said that she knows that I didn't want to talk but....
My case manager asked me what did your former therapist said. I told my case manager my former therapist wants me to find a new therapist. My case manager smiled and say "That's what I have told you".
I shared with my case manager that I did reached out to a few therapist and only one so far responded. I showed my case manager the Therapist who responded website and then I showed her my current therapist website
To my shocked my case manager said my current therapist is not a license Therapist but is a license social worker. Then my case manager said the prospective therapist is a license Therapist. My case manager went on to say it made sense why my current therapist doesn't teach me nor create a Safety plan etc with me and that she is unable to because she is not a license Therapist.
I think why I delay and ignoring certain things is because I don't do go with separation even if the person is abusive etc. Years ago this Doctor recognized it and one of my former case manager and stated that it is not good because I will not protect self. I don't have that ability.
My case manager and I spoke and on Monday the prospective therapist is going to be calling me to check my Insurance. I don't know how to feel or what to do. Do I tell my current therapist and if not when do I do? My case manager said after my last session I can text her and tell her. But isn't that wrong? Yet I can not tell her during session. I wish life was much simpler.
People tells me to do things and explain me to just do it. I cry inside

Mornings or Nights?*You can’t say both (or neither), or add stipulations, or make substitutions- just commit and pick one of the two choices!

I do allot of animal rescue work that keeps me well reminded of how frightening change is to any life form. The more abused and/or injured the animal, the harder it will resist change. Welcome to the natural order.
Be gentle with yourself and patient with the process.
Hope healing happens here.
Big hug .... xo
I'll always have that leaning toward codependence, but I'm getting better at independence all the time. I don't mean isolation, I mean good independence, where I have boundaries and don't settle for abuse because I'm afraid to be alone.
You're right, we're all still learning.
