from mother: she told me as long as i dont try it, actualy do it, her suggestions wont help me much, she told me scream if you have to and break it and let it out, this was for agoraphobia
it was not knowing these persons just the ones who get into my life briefly talking with me told me how to try it
now when i needed it the most it happened to me great friendship with person who doesnt understand anything about ptsd or other disorders that i have
first one gave me as gift his bible and told me to read "the book of job"
another one told me: what i think that is my weakness to turn it into my strength and flow within as long as im aware of reality also reminded me not to forget "fire walk with me" which had meaning and understanding what we mean by these words
one more teached me not to take it personaly, not to keep it to heart, just give it a thought any time i felt something like personal and then reject it because ppl can say things with or without atention to get it wrong
same one teached me how to express myself, be myself, stand for myself and not to be ordered with someone
and from here and around i got ideas which i tried and it works for me, and i have some learned through the time that i was in therapy who helped me "reiki" way, some excersize, imagery, handwriting, self hypnozis
and quote with this, its something like
"i know that i dont know anything and i know that i know something"
cant remember whose this quote is
51%: I loved your story of tracking down your guidance counselor and the effect it had on him. Tomorrow I end my little Easter week gratitude tour by presenting another thank you plaque I made for a teacher of mine who made a difference in my PTSD. I can't wait to see his face when I thank him.
51%, thanks also for what you said about blaming. I know exactly who is to blame for my PTSD and have raised my voice about that in the name of justice. But I think if you give people credit for the bad, it is only honest to give credit for the good. And raise my voice about that, too, in the name of justice. Those who perform little selfless acts of kindness usually don't get the recognition they deserve. Yet I want to believe that is actually what makes this world go around. So thank you, too.
