How many classes do you have? Also, what is on the syllabus? If it isn't vital you be there, you could always try to go and tell them you aren't feeling well if you need to leave. Most professors are not totally heartless and will understand if you have something medical going on. Personally, I never like to hide behind my illnesses but at the same time, sometimes less is more....

I get it. In that case, I would say a few words to the professors in advance that lets them know that you have some personal issues which are directly impacting you right now but that you intend to stay in class and do your best to contribute. Or if you want, just ride it out and see what happens. You can always email an apology later or pull them aside after class too.

If you have a good relationship with your professors they should understand. I would also add that Thursday is an anniversary of a traumatic event in your life. Don't give details but most compassionate people will respect that you suffered and be sympathetic to your feelings.

Deffinately clue them in. You do not have to give detail. Just say that you are in your bst form today because it's the anniversary of a difficult time I had in the past. So, if I'm acting out of the ordinary please forgive me. Thanks! I would not give too much information. Remember to breathe and hang in there we areall supporting your courae!
