There was many times my mom could not do something because of her migraines and fibromyalgia and she would get exhausted but it never made me love her less! Kids get disappointed its a part of life but when they look back as adults they see how much love their parents had for them! I now have migraines and fibro and other stuff as well and wonder how much mom did even as much as she could and did!

I related when you wrote here "I can't believe I have a child.....if I didn't I'd kill myself and that's overwhelming." I never have been a parent, but I have been in that position just in thinking about the students I teach or the people in one of the small church congregations I serve. I know I'm replaceable in the classroom and in the pulpit, but it did give me pause to think how losing me would affect them. We don't always find the reason to go on in ourselves alone, but also in our relationship to others in the world in that interdependent web of being we're all part of, Marah. I'm part of yours, too, so I'm glad you're here.
