Welcoming any kind words to calm my anxiety the day before my surgery tomorrow morning. It's on Monday Dec. 3rd; Wednesday is when I hope to be discharged if all goes well, so say a prayer for me tonight. It's when anticipation will be most on my mind. Prayers welcome. If I don't see your posts here until after surgery, they'll still really uplift me. Since I live alone and have no family, I'll be in the hospital alone after surgery. That's when the nurses urge you to get up and walk when you really don't feel like it. It's needed, though, to prevent blood clots. Any cheerleading so I can push myself to get up and walk after surgery will be most welcome, too.

Muji, so relate. You are getting showers of prayers for peace and calm, both now and through the next few days. If they get you up quickly, it will be brief. No marathons. Tonight is for comforting distractions knowing we are all with you. You will sail through this. Many prayers and calming hugs.

Wow, it took a couple of hours of inexplicable tinkering, but after 2 hours of failing to get my hotel's wifi to work to log me on to be in touch with y'all, suddenly through the Miracle of Early Christmas, bingo! I got logged on.

I'm so glad, too. Your posts of prayer and support are just precious to me, they really are. Blue, a colleague did drive me here and will drive me home from the hospital; great guy. The alone part will be in the hospital and then after I get home for my 6 week recovery. But then I'll always have you, and that is everything.

Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
