Tonight I'm going out to dinner with a coworker friend of mine. Tomorrow I get my teaching observed at my job by my boss, so please say a little prayer or send good supportive vibes that I get good rest tonight and have steady nerves tomorrow.

It'll probably be my last time being observed by a supervisor before I retire 2 years from now. I've never had a bad teaching evaluation by a supervisor in 38 years of teaching, and it would be nice if my boss let my record remain stain free. My lesson plan is well prepared. Fingers crossed, support welcome.

The measure of your teaching isn't in your evaluations. It's in the students that you've helped turn into adult, into professionals, who have gone out and helped others.

Update: no snow day postponement of being observed in class teaching by my boss today. I got it over with! Dunno how I did, it was kind of a blur, but yes, I got it over with.

Could be my last in class observation by a boss now since I'm retiring 2 years from now.

Thanks, Doo. Hope so. I've been observed enough over these 38 years of teaching now. Rightly or wrongly, for good or ill, I'm just about as good as I'm ever going to get by now, ya know?

I am glad to see you made it through the day. Trust that you hit the upper limits on the observation scale/ or rubic. because you prepared for it.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
