It was my turn to speak at a church about DS PTSD and trauma and recovery again today. As always, everyone's anonymity was closely guarded, but thanks to all for the inspiring stories of support for one another I got to pass along. Along with letting folks know what trauma stories we bring to the table here it was good to be able to tell them how many support posts gather every day to a post when one of us starts a thread.

I got to share the lyrics of the song "Best I Can" by the Canadian band Art of Dying, too. Nice song.

Thanks for educating people about "us". The more people understand perhaps the kinder they will be (except the ones with. no empathy)

Thanks, everybody. The funniest part of my talk was when I spoke about how we vent here among folks who understand our anger, using our Cuss Bucket Doo made for us. That got a bunch of good laughs.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
