One of my alters made me lose my socks three times today, and when I said "Okay, who keeps hiding my socks?" the 6-year-old boy said he was scared to go to therapy.
...We talked about hardly anything real in therapy, I'm going to try and write down a checklist, therapy's expensive.
When the boy did come out he could not open his eyes.
...I feel pressure on the inside, like we're collectively building up to getting new recall back...and it's been a while. So getting stuff back helps...but it's yucky, too.
I got back a little thing a few weeks ago, I guess mom hit us with an electrical cord once. But she won't remember that. She tends to have forgotten how bad she once was. I just remember her looking horrified, realizing she'd just hit us with this brown electrical cord. For some reason I'm thinking it might have been the cord off of the iron.

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...
Allowing those memories to come back was, hands down, the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. Still is, sometimes, even though now most of what seems to be coming back is the good stuff that got slimed in the mind slides. Worth it, though. I lose allot fewer socks, etc., these days.
