One stupid little insident set me on fast slippery down hill tumble to total flipping out and suicidal thoughts. Then comes the rush of memories just buring me like an avalanch. Each personality was tired of all this emotional explotion. Don't ya just feel like the Devil watches every move you make and with any attempt to call upon the Lord he shoots another painful memmorie into your heart just to see you weaken even more. Jesus I need you, we all need you please save us from the firey darts of the enemy and restore our souls and minds to health Amen!

Been there Jessica and made it through it , which means you CAN TOO. Remember to keep breathing and feel Jesus' loving arms around you. Locate a copy of the "FootPrints" poem and keep reading it to know that he is with you. I truely believe that Jesus is with us or none of us would have survived our abuse. I know there others believe that God had forsaken us or the abuse would not have happened but stand on your faith and your own understanding of your Higher Power. I typically dont talk religion on sits but this time I just wanted to support you calling out to him. LOVE and HUGS

Thank you carolinac... I agree with you about Religion. but I know who has delivered me from many evil situations and I'm unashamed to call Him Jesus Christ. It's not always a love affair with Him. Most of the time I'm very defiant with Him, but He knows my heart and will never give up on me. It's still hard for me to believe, but a mustard seed of faith is all that is required and He said we can pray for more faith. I'm just so stubborn because I was brain wshed to hate and hurt myself and it's hard to get my understanding of His unconditional love. Still wrestling with God!

OH so do I Jessica. Intellectually I know that the loves me unconditionally and sometimes emotionally. But similar to you, all the years of not feeling good enough, hating myself and hurting myself causes doubt and during those times I pray that I can feel his loving arms around me. The total trust is not there but it stronger then it was and getting a little stronger each day. There are times I think he gives me a little slap on the head bc Im not listening or running. I think recovery is a spiritual journey and I now that we can keep growing in our faith and make stride in loving ourselves. Until then we can continue to love and support each other. Better get back to work....lunch break over.
