So, this is part of my story that I have not shared yet on DS. I was five years old when it first happened. I was molested so many times when I was a child. I don't even count the times as they were so many and it lasted for around six years. It really was horrible. I can't forget what happened. It is stuck to my mind. But, what I still remember is that I told my parents when it happened to me, my father got so angry at me and went beating me harshly because he did not believe that I was molested. He insisted that I wanted it to happen. So, he beat me brutally because he did not like it. He did not even try to protect me from those sexually abusive people. But, I went on telling my parents some more times when it happened to me, and my father kept acting the same way, beating me so brutally and cruelly, not believing me and judging that I enjoyed/liked having intercourse. A few years later (I don't even remember how many years later, two, three or four), I have come to a conclusion that I don't tell my parents about it, because I did not want to be beaten by my father. I just had to handle that molestation for the next years until I turned eleven. I am 27 years old today, but I really can't forget it. I did not have anybody to protect me, but I asked for help. I asked someoen who is supposed to protect me (my father), but he did not............

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

As I have worked through my own cPTSD baggage car, I don't know which group inspires more anger from my wounded psyche: The perpetrators or the people who betrayed my trust when I sought help. Insert anger channeling exercises here. . .
Continued support while you sort through your own, Zuhair.
Hope healing happens here.
You wrote: "But, what I still remember is that I told my parents when it happened to me, my father got so angry at me and went beating me harshly because he did not believe that I was molested. He insisted that I wanted it to happen."
That's what happened to me, too, when I told my parents I'd been molested, in my case when I was 11. It was awful in how it multiplied the original abuse. I'm 59 now, you're 27, and yet the original abuse and those abusive responses to it linger, don't they?
I'm glad we have this safe space where we can tell our stories for healing.
My story has different circumstances but with similar emotional results. I think you are brave for working through your feelings here and sharing with us.
Like Muji said, it is healing for you and for us. so thank you
triple hugs~
My Father let me down in a different way as well
I agree that writing it here took courage..... xo
i understand how it can be more traumatic, when the ones we need to care for us instead betray us and abuse us more, than the trauma we went to them for help with.
the most gentle of hugs xo
Even telling your story here of what you went through will be an inspiration to others. You may have a chance to help advise others, in doing this is a way to help you heal as well. I have found telling m story to others has helped me bunches. The more you talk about it, the more you start to learn things about yourself you have never known before. The more you talk about it to others, you find out how strong and courageous you had to be and how much you can really endure. In the bible tell us ..."love endures all things." I sure can see how much love you have and how much you care. Sometimes as much as I hate to say this, the ones we love do not seem to understand or even care. However, they are human just like you and me and we all have our flaws. Even though our loved ones might not be the ones to confide in, sometimes we need to find other means of help. Even though I could not to my parents either, I was a church goer, my dad sent me to church on Sunday mornings so that he could sleep in on Sundays. There were people in church that knew my parents and knew what kind of family I lived in and took me in under my wing. I opened up to them and they helped me work through things. That helped some, but I still had a lot of other emotions and fears I had to work through. I was advised to make Jesus Christ a part of my life. I did, I asked Jesus to come into my life and a part of my life. I talked to Him and cried out to Him, I shared my most intimate thoughts with Him. I relied on Him to see me through all my tough times, it was not easy, but i did and He helped me find peace, He humbled me and showed me how to love my parents regardless of their inadequacies. I also needed to give myself permission to forgive myself and to forgive my offender/s. When I finally said those words a loud "I forgive you!" You have no more bondage over me! I felt like I had just gotten out of prison. I hope this helps you. May God bless you!
