Sacrificing my life for others /rant tw
I feel like screaming all the time. My gma feel in the rehab center at the end of her insurance paid 20 days and now she can't leave but we don't know how to pay for it. She had to go to the hospital to be scanned then we had to take her back to the rehab center. My mom got an MRI and will have to get chemo and a misectamy; she's getting a petscan Friday. I'm just so fucking tired of this. I've been helping my family with death and medical crises for 13 years. I am so worn out I don't feel like moving at all and I feel like screaming and punching a wall all the time. I can't do anything creative like this. It takes all my fucking life force to deal with ERs again and again and again. I have nothing to fucking show for it, no job, education, friends, savings, just disability, clinical depression and PTSD.

Which explains the mysterious fevers and my extra fatigue. I'm so glad I pushed for answers.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

strength and hugs to you....please take good care of you.
kids now are being taught these things in school, at least, i think they are. not sure what they are telling them, but i think they are letting them in on the fact that these things will happen and are realities of life when people are living longer.
one thing i thought - maybe because gma had the fall - perhaps her insurance will start a new visit for this new injury and care time. it may be in the hospital's best interest to do it that way - ask them. she left for xray - maybe her time there now can start when she returned from xrays at the different hospital??? how did she fall?
also - there MUST be time for you - if there is a social worker - and there is, there has to be someone at one of the hospitals, somewhere who can get someone on gma's case, mom's case - to get some time out for you. the churches - someone somewhere 0r you are going to be in the hospital yourself. maybe you need to check yourself in, if you are scared, it is a safe plan. you cannot put yourself at risk - if you do, you are not helping anyone ((((Rizen))))
sometimes the people who CAN help wait until the person helping falls down, then here they come. i'm so sorry it is this hard and for so long.
My mom is trying to get my grandma on medicare or medicaid (not sure) again. She hopefully won't be turned down this time. She's also looking into help programs but they won't happen until she actually gets the surgery or treatments. Fortunately my mom's insurance is paying for her treatment.
@looney yeah I think everyone should have insurance and am disgusted with the current republican party. That's another topic though.
Once those emotions are released, there will be more internal sorting space to help you access the answers that you already have underneath all that justifiable and repressed anguish.
