I posted last week about how shakey with PTSD I was coming to the end of the school year at the community college where I work. For the last 2 weeks or so I had PTSD insomnia going on, which affects all of my other PTSD symptoms.
I still got through playing my part well in the Commencement ceremony last Saturday. But on the following Tuesday, I got a massive head and chest cold like clockwork.
It seems to be the story of my life. Whenever I'm under stress, my PTSD symptoms flare up, and then my immune system goes down in the same proportion, and I get a massive head and chest cold. Kind of tired of the pattern. Living alone, it's no fun to be cooped up in my house feeling miserable like this.

Woke up feeling very emotional and about to clock in at my place of employment. And can't place it all in writing but not been a good experience with my store manager or his boss. Defamation of my character is a concern. I've been losing appetite and weight. Trying to perform at work to keep myself from hospitalization as a result of toxic masculinity.

i wonder if you are allowed to take over the counter stuff like alka selzer plus severe flu/cold. i take the kind that you disolve in hot water and drink like tea and it helps so much when i get the all over everythings. mayb e you can try it??
Gentle hugs
only able to breathe shallow. So I went to a
MedExpress. Fortunately, it was the one I went
to 2 years ago when I slipped on the ice, and the
Dr. remembered me. I got royal treatment.
They x-rayed me to be sure I hadn't developed
pneumonia, and once they'd ruled that out they
gave me an hour long treatment on site that got
me breathing normally again.
Then they sent me home with antibiotics since I
had bronchitis, along with some Prednizone and
an inhaler. So I'll be able to make it to my
service Sunday morning to preach, and I'll be
getting better in the next week.
A little 3 year old girl took a shine to me in the
waiting room and kept bringing me books to
read to her. Two guys from work called me to
check up on me, so I felt like folks cared how I
was doing, along with you folks here. So
things are looking up for me.
Healing hugs :)
