Last night I didn't get to sleep until 3:30 a.m. in spite of taking 2 Prazosin as nightmare prevention and 4 melatonin as sleep aids. Lack of sleep brings on a vulnerabiliy to flashbacks for me. Despite a week of CKD pains from kidney damage from a bad pdoc's administering me too much Seroquel, I've had a nice week of being relatively flashback free, at least for me as a child combat veteran anyway. I'd like to keep it that way. The CKD pain's enough to cope with without flirting with having flashbacks on top of it.
Anybody else going through the same right now? Other than the meds, what do you do?

The insomnia was of a unique type last night. I woke up on the hour every hour, then had to get myself to sleep. That happened 5 times during the night.
