In the meantime, try spending some quiet time every day Mediate, read, do a hobby- ideal is for you to concentrate on something else other than your PTSD or worries. It will give your mind a break. Eat right- healthy foods and at scheduled times. Get enough sleep. If you are having some trouble sleeping, you can try the older over the counter allergy medicines- side effect is drowsiness. Benadryl is good to try but Please read the box to avoid any interactions with other meds you are on or any medical conditions. Also try writing down anything you think of- keeping a journal sometimes helps.

Try to identfy your symptoms and put some distance between yourself and the symptoms of PTSD remember you are not them.
Regonize them and tell yourself wha i'm feeling now is symptoms and try to observe them but not get caught up in them.
Don't know if it mkaes sense but taht is what i do and it helps a lot.
