Unfortunately, you can't stop him from walking away, or make him face his issues if he does not want to?
I know that, to some degree, Mr Crazypants and I DO trigger each other. This means we don't have the luxury of ignoring our issues if we want to stay together.
I just want to live, and live fully, so I'm going to keep on truckin', keep on healing. You can only do for you.
You are NOT garbage.
He's fleeing because of his own problems. It's a dreadful loss, no way around it. But please to get on with getting yourself better, because that is what you have control over. Get some offline support too? I mean, we're awesome here, but offline support packs more punch.

I did my PTSD therapy during our marriage, but because of her sensitivity to the story behind it in Uruguay, I let her stay on the sidelines of my recovery. That proved to be my 2nd mistake.
In your case, since you both have PTSD, it's different. Perhaps you could go to a therapist together?
It's been 15 years since my divorce. Since that was the 2nd one, my first one being a nearly identical story after 3 years of marriage, I've decided avoiding repetition compulsion is more important than proving I can be married. It is lonely at times, but I'm proud I've at least stopped making the same mistake.
I'm really sorry about what you're going through because I know too well how it really feels. I wish I had the solution to offer you, but at least you can know you are definitely not alone in what you're going through.
it took me three or four years to finally get the courage to leave the bad marriage and it was intensely scary, i was alone and desperate and i too made the choice to leave. it did take a while but eventually i was very happy alone. blue has said what i would say, please keep working on healing you.
sorry for your pain
There are lots of other people out there that will walk this journey with you. Just focus on yourself now and get to a happier place. I hope that helps. Hugs to you!!
I am sorry you are experiencing this. I am sorry you are in pain. No one needs more stressor when they are trying to recover from ptsd but sometimes that is all it seems to bring, more stress, more stress and more stress. I wish I could find something to say to comfort you.
