I am a fan of the tv show Longmire on Netflix. I just saw an episode that dealt with both PTSD and being a rape survivor in the same show. It took place on a reservation in Wyoming, too.
At the end, the Native American women, rape survivors of all ages, gather in a sweat lodge alone together and pray for one another. The part of them taken is out there lost and wandering, and they call for it to come back to them. I was touched and moved to spiritual tears, not just tears of sadness, but because another healing image was given to me.
It's just a tv show, but wherever you find the spirit, I figure so may it be.

I do ok here, but Hollywood has a way of heightening things and I am too affected by it. If I haven't been triggered for awhile and am doing ok, then I usually can handle it.
I was interested in looking at that show because of the Native American theme. But right now I couldn't handle it. I also like the spiritual idea.
